Why do pools crack?
The most common cause of structural cracks is: Ground movement, high water tables, expansive soil, plumbing leaks and defective construction.
Surface cracks often appear in the plaster surface but do not penetrate the structural shell. These cracks are cosmetic in nature often caused when the pools are emptied and the surface becomes dried out.
Leak detection & Crack Repairs.
After visual inspection Adams Brothers Pool Plastering Inc. will determine the optimum path to identify a solution and remedy the damage. A simple dye test by a qualified leak detection company can isolate the scope of the damage and narrow the repair budget. In some circumstances a Geo Technical and or Structural Engineering firm is consulted to call out specific repairs.
